With my birthday literally days away and Christmas just around the corner, I thought it’d be a great time to update my travel gift guide. Travel gifts don’t have to be expensive and they don’t have to be useless either. Here are some of the travel items I think make a great gift idea for the travel bugs among us.
Portable phone charger
This is one of the best gifts I ever received. Not only is it great for travel, it’s also great for day-to-day use on the go. My portable charger gives me one full battery each time. It’s definitely something all smart phone users will appreciate!
Another great gift I’ve received is a pack of different travel adaptors. No matter where I am in the world I can connect to power. If you’re shopping for someone else, be sure they have USB ports as many of us need to charge phones and cameras on the go.
A travel wallet
A travel wallet is something that we can all benefit from using. Not only are they great for keeping all your travel documents in order, they also make packing a breeze.
Sometimes the best gift is the gift of travel itself but booking someone a holiday can be extremely difficult, especially when you have to work around their schedule without them knowing it. If they’re travelling with someone it can be easier to get their help to plan a trip but the best thing to do is buy a gift card for travel sites or flights. It’s a much cheaper option to and you can get people to pitch in to make it a larger sum.
If they love telling their stories they’ll love a new travel journal. They’re going to need one for every trip so you can never have too many travel journals! Find journals with just lined paper so they have the space for what they need.
A Polaroid instant printer
This is something that’s high up on my wish list. I don’t want to have to travel with an extra camera so this is the next best thing to printing cute polaroids. These things are great. You simply connect to your phone and instantly print an image as a cute polaroid. You can get them from JB Hi Fi and Officeworks.
