A quaint dog-friendly motel on the coast
Located on the outskirts of Port Macquarie, Major Innes Motel is a small, dog-friendly motel. The rooms cost just $90 per night and here you really get what you pay for and nothing more. The small room is furnished with a double bed, desk and two chairs, reading chair, wardrobe, fridge and TV.
The bathroom is a little more spacious though and there is a shared kitchen and laundry facility available.
The courtyard makes it easy to walk the dogs and take them to the bathroom but keep an eye out for visiting wallabies and keep your pooch on the lead!
One undercover parking space is also provided per room, right next door to the room.
The location is great if it’s your dog’s first trip because it’s relatively quiet, yet only a ten-minute drive into the middle of town. There’s plenty of grass and space to walk your dog around if the room gets a little too cosy too.
We give Major Innes Motel three paws out of five.
